Recently, the Public Welfare Training on Regulatory Interpretation of Pharmaceutical Water and Microbial Control Practices, hosted by the China Pharmaceutical Quality Management Association and venue-supported by Jindi Xindaolangu Life Science Park, successfully concluded in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. Held from July 6 to 8, the training focused on core industry pain points including the new pharmaceutical water standards specified in the 2025 Edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, microbial risk management, water preparation system operation and maintenance, and digital monitoring. It delivered systematic free training to quality, equipment, engineering and testing practitioners from pharmaceutical enterprises nationwide. The venue was fully occupied with a vibrant atmosphere for industry exchanges.

Following the official implementation of the 2025 Edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, the general chapters related to pharmaceutical water and a series of guidelines for microbial monitoring have undergone comprehensive updates. Meanwhile, the new GMP Guidelines impose stricter requirements on full-process control of water systems. Numerous pharmaceutical companies face practical challenges in standard implementation, microbial prevention and control, compliance of TOC/conductivity testing, and elimination of hidden system risks.
Designed to bridge the gap between regulatory requirements and manufacturing practices, this public welfare training invited authoritative instructors including Professor Ye Xun and microbial experts from Zhejiang Institute for Food and Drug Control to deliver in-depth lectures covering multiple modules. As a professional service provider specializing in pharmaceutical water quality testing, Neuronbc (Beijing Neuyin) was invited to participate in this grand event.

At the conference, a regulatory consultant from Neuronbc delivered a special presentation themed Key Regulatory Considerations and Application Sharing for On-line TOC Monitoring of Pharmaceutical Water. Closely aligned with the core themes of pharmacopoeia interpretation and compliance implementation throughout the training, the presentation was framed against current GMP, the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and overseas regulatory frameworks. Exchanges centered on two major dimensions: compliance control of on-line TOC monitoring instruments and on-site implementation practices. Standardized management approaches for on-line monitoring of pharmaceutical purified water and water for injection were proposed, offering references for participating enterprises to address compliance challenges in water quality testing.
After the presentation, many technical and quality managers from participating enterprises took the initiative to communicate with the speaker, engaging in in-depth discussions on practical issues such as equipment selection for pharmaceutical water on-line monitoring, compliance rollout and system operation & maintenance. The on-site interaction was highly active.
Neuronbc has long focused on the R&D of pharmaceutical compliance testing instruments and provision of supporting solutions. Its product portfolio covers sterile testing equipment including Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzers, filter integrity testers and package seal integrity testers. Centered on compliance with pharmacopoeia specifications and GMP requirements in product development, the company continuously participates in various professional training sessions and technical seminars organized by industry associations.
Moving forward, Neuronbc will maintain close collaboration with industry platforms such as the China Pharmaceutical Quality Management Association. It will keep sharing practical insights covering regulatory interpretation and instrument operation related to pharmaceutical water and sterile testing, and organize more offline exchange events focusing on upgrading domestic testing instruments and establishing compliance systems for pharmaceutical manufacturers. The company aims to facilitate the digital and compliant development of water quality control within the pharmaceutical industry and accelerate the localization of pharmaceutical testing equipment.
